Marínba was born from a deep love of the sea and of cooking, passed down through generations.

Our restaurant in Peñíscola is a family legacy: it all began with our chef’s father, Pepe, at the helm in the kitchen, preparing traditional seafaring dishes using the freshest ingredients brought into port each day.

For many years, we were called Tío Pepe Peñíscola—a name with history, cherished by those seeking a place to eat in Peñíscola with a true taste of tradition. Today, we carry that same spirit forward under the name Marínba, a blend of our chef’s surnames: Jose Marín Bayarri.
